A worked example is the bread and butter of a math teacher and it has been for years. Of course, if you are heavy into the  Thinking Classroom then you might not think so anymore but I think that this post about how to make kids think while still showing worked examples starts to create a bridge between a traditional and a thinking classroom.

I love this activity that combines some of the mechanics of Pascal's triangle and adding polynomials. I could see it used for other polynomial related operations too.
