I have recommended this site before and I don't think that I can recommend it enough. Slow Reveal Graphs start with a graph that has been stripped of context: its numbers, its labels, its title. The teacher facilitates a discussion around what students notice and wonder. Then another slide is revealed with some more (but not all) information. And this continues @JennaLaib does a great job of finding these graphs and creating the slideshows for anyone to use. Here is the latest on the Cities with the Greatest Number of Skyscrapers:
