On the BBC's More or Less a really nice example of how 99% success rate in terrorist detection would result in a large amount of false positives in a country like th US with 300 million peolpe. Other stories include mistakes of decimal point in the media when reporting how manypeople die after surgury and the idea of whether some numbers are big (in this case the amount of paper used by the courts) and how hard it is, apparently, to divide 17 by 2. Those are on the May 31st Episode.
On the June 10th Episode they talk to Naked Statistics author who talks about the myths about caffeine drinking and pregnant women, where we send kids to school, and the target case mentioned below
