Paul Conley and @WelBlair did a great session on "Supporting Language Learners Using Desmos:Vignettes from the Classroom" focusing on the strategy Stronger and Clearer here at #NCTMLA2022. I like it because it focuses on the idea that students do a draft solution and then revise it with more clear thinking. Check out slides 14 and 15 to see an example

I always appreciate when someone curates the things that they find useful. I try to do that here, but there is so much that people share. In this case, @Pierre_Tranche has pared that down into the best of the best for you.

We don't do a lot of Venn diagrams in Ontario curriculum anymore but you still might want to throw one up and ask students to explain it. And if you are doing that anyway, then why not make it more interesting by doing one from Indexed.

This is pretty interesting. Having just read Building Thinking Classroom and in it they talked about how many questions teachers ask in any class. And although this post is not connected connected to thinking classrooms directly, it is pretty neat to see all these questions compiled from a single lesson into a 7 min video clip.
