As an administrator, part of my job is evaluating staff. One of my go to asks is for teachers to work on how they both ask and answer questions of students (I am constantly suggesting that if students ask "is this right?" to always answer with "Tell me why you think it's right" as well as helping students think more like scientists (for both math and science classes). #mathstoday started with one of my favorite early probability activities. Students write events on stickies for almost never to almost always and another group tries to sort them. Lots of discussion about wording and googling for more info.
