There was a time in my teaching career when I did think that it was about me telling students what I knew. I feel so much better that over the last 20 years or so, that has changed for me to match this quote from @HowieHua. I do think, however, that many teachers still like to be the "sage on the stage" and that can sometimes be a roadblock to shifting to a more student centred classroom.

I love this because come up with your opinion and then you can verify that no matter which one you choose, they are all nets of a cube right in PolyPad

I remember being in this session of @NatBanting's way back in 2018 and I've always liked the idea of it. I'm glad he's reminded me of it.

I definitely agree with this. For me, I don't know that I have done the same lesson twice as a teacher and it has only been by request that I've done the same presentation twice at a conference. I always try to do something new.

I love the connection to music and I guess I never really knew how much patterning was involved with the solutions on this @Numberphile video featuring @Ayliean. Thanks to @MSBJacobs for this one.

I like the idea of using patterns to introduce the ideas of identities.

I love a good probability riddle and I like this because it reminds us that knowing the sample set is super important for solving some of these problems.

I'm not sure how universally useful this is but it's pretty cool

Though this is listed as something for grade 9 math, the stuff that @Gingerich_C and @AledaKlassen are talking about using portfolios in math class. These idea would be good for any class in any grade.

This is why it's always good to listen to students explanations of their interesting solutions.

I agree with @Sneffleupagus on this one. I think the lesson here is that, as a teacher, you should be accepting of creative thinking
