I like being able to show student work easily and this week I found a new way to do that using @getRocketbook and @Wipebook. If you don't know what a Rocketbook is, it's a reusable notebook. That is simplifying it greatly but you can watch this video to get the idea. It turns out you can download some free Rocketbook templates directly from their website and if you want to capture student work that they have put on Wipebook sheets, then all that is required is that you enlarge the QR code and symbols at the bottom of the Rocketbook sheet and the natural black boarder of the Wipebook sheet becomes a large Rocketbook sheet. Great, I think, for saving work from a vertical non permanent surface session. Below is how you could do it. And thanks to @MathisVisual for pointing out that Wipebook already has their own app to do something similar. Check it out here.

Let me know of you have questions.
So any whole number can be written as the sum of three triangular numbers. Want to check this? Then Tweet any number to @3_triangles and this bot will send back a visual representation (where possible) of the three numbers. Here's one that I did. Thanks to @divbyzero for this one

Here's an idea for a lesson on percents thanks to @approx_normal. Take a look at your favourite rewards/loyalty program and calculate the percent return. For example, with me, it's buy 7 coke slurpies and get 1 free. Check out the article belowAny number can be written as the sum of three or fewer triangular numbers. @TedG made a triangular number Twitter bot @3_triangles—tweet it a number and it tweets the sum back to you. (Right now the bot checks its mentions periodically, so there may be a delay before a response.) https://t.co/rLcsq30KKu— Dave Richeson (@divbyzero) June 5, 2019

In times like these this doesn't surprise me. I thought it was a joke at first but, it turns out, nope, this is legit. More than half the people who responded to this survey say that we shouldn't teach Arabic numerals in schools.

Of course, you can always use Office Lens to push images of student work to your Gallery, PDFs, Dropbox, Google and of course OneNote. And it will recognize any text in the image (modulo some people's penmanship).

Thanks for the suggestion. I am playing around with it right now. I like how it "finds" a rectangle to capture
