I have featured the @MathisVisual site before but I am such a big fan of visual representations that I think it's worth another reminder. Here are two recent posts. One on visualizing the volume of a cylinder and one on equivalent ratios. They do a really good job of conceptualizing each of the topics they choose while giving you, the teacher, as many prompts as possible about how to present the topic.

The problem of related rates is not a new one for calculus and the standard examples of cars driving away from each other at right angles or shadows growing over time are common in calculus classes. That being said, I like the approach that @TheEricLee has taken here by actually giving hands on stations and experiments for students to do that match these classic problems. The shadow one is my favourite

I do this all the time. My favourite is to "square numbers around 50 in my head" by using (50 + n)(50 + n) = 2500 + 100n + n2
