Math Links for Week Ending Oct. 2nd, 2020

It's now time for me to shamelessly plug the podcast that I do. This is the third year that I have taken speakers from the OAME conference and interviewed them about their sessions and it is still not at all like work. This season we have @PeterTaylor&@Pi_Lab, Ian VanderBurgh, @TaraCFlynn&@ShelleyYearley, @RooSloan and starting off this month we have Ron Lancaster talking about his session "A Shared Problem Solving Activity". On the podcast episode he doesn't divulge the activity he's going to do but did a similar type of activity that has a low floor and high ceiling with a surprising result. You can register for his webinar at our @OAMEtalks website

And speaking of @ShelleyYearley, she reminded us that the Ontario Fraction Pathway website is up and running again. This is a great resource for anyone looking to conceptualize fractions for their students.
