Right now most of the @OnMathies apps are down since they were all built with Flash. But the Mathies team has funding from the ministry to rebuild these apps in HTML5. You can check out the beta version of the colour tiles app here:

I like giving students real applications of using math and specifically show them that real people use math to solve problems. In this video from @EngineeringExplained he goes through several equations to figure out things like the mass of a Tesla. You don't necessarily have to watch the whole video but, I think, it's still pretty interesting too.
