How do you feel about artificial intelligence (AI)? Or at the very least, how do you feel about a computer doing your job or your student's homework? Photomath has been around for a while and now we have ChatGPT. They are not quite the same but either way, my question is "how have you changed what you do in class now that these technologies exist?"

In this post @JRappaport27 give us an example of a sequence of questions to "thin slice" a topic. Take the topic of your choice and this example to build your own ( and then share it out).

Building out a sequence. To provide greater access, we're being intentional with the use of language and not jumping too quickly to the symbolic. The idea is for this to cross several grade bands and for the questions to be thin sliced. Feedback on the language will be helpful. pic.twitter.com/fkVDEYQrTu

I was lucky enough to become a @Desmos fellow for cohort 3 and because of the pandemic the cohorts stopped at 4. But now they have re upped and are accepting applications for Cohort 5. I highly recommend at least tryingBrainstormed this idea with a teacher to turn surface area and volume math stations into a "Math Passport" activity. Students get a stamp (a bingo dauber or a sticker) for each station they complete. Suggestions? #ITeachMath https://t.co/K6yLV5Q7wg pic.twitter.com/E2c0DLOhiJ
