I was introduced to the game Set years ago at Twitter Math Camp and loved it right from the start. So it's cool to see how the math is deeper than just playing the game. I love the vector space representation. Although they don't talk about it here, another variation is 3D Set. That you play more collaboratively but it's fun too.

I love that even the Egyptians thought unit fractions were importantPolypad is a great tool for exploring visual patterns. We've created interactive versions of 20+ visual patterns to help students engage in algebraic thinking. I once tried to figure out my Erdos number based on my Masters work in Physics. I think I might be too far away but it's still pretty cool how much he did for math and physicsWith the exception of a single symbol for ⅔, Ancient Egyptians’ number system could only express more complicated fractions (like ¾) as sums of unit fractions, which are fractions that feature a 1 in their numerator (½ + ¼). https://t.co/9J6evWPqzo pic.twitter.com/TJmRojyo9L

Mathematician Paul Erdős used to work for nearly 19 hours a day doing math and often claimed that he requires only three hours of sleep. He published nearly 1500 papers on mathematics and co-authored with more than 250 mathematicians during his time. Erdös is credited for… pic.twitter.com/0nxKOWGmUf
