I'm a big fan of @DesmosClassroom and have made my fair share of activities. However, for Ontario teachers I have compiled a list of Desmos activities (mostly made by Desmos but some by me and others) that match the expectations for Ontario Gr 7-12 math curriculum. I did this a while ago but just recently finally put together 70 activities that hit most of the MTH1W. curriculum. So, you can find all of these activities at the page listed below. Note that the idea here is that you wouldn't do all of these activities as there is much overlap but pick and choose things that resonate with you.

For the first 5 minutes of a test, students put their writing utensils on the ground, I hand out the test, and students talk to each other about the test. Many have mentioned how much this lowers their test anxiety. pic.twitter.com/5oOsTVZ2Ip

I think that this is a great question for both kids who are beginning their journey of solving equations as well as those who are looking for a challenge.
