Dyscalculia may affect 3–8% of school-age children. So why is it so often overlooked? New CRPE research examines what schools and states can do to better identify and support students. crpe.org/the-missing-... #MathEducation #SpecialEducation

This is a fun problem that can be done with a little bit of intuitive thinking at just about any grade level that knows how to multiply, but I suppose you could also use systems of equations as well

I think the maths historians would probably call this a 'surveyors' problem. Am in the process of making a sheet of them ... unless anyone already has such a thing. (The 40 and the 72 are the areas of the rectangles formed by the respective diagonals). #UKMathsChat #iTeachMath

I really enjoyed reading this post, especially the point about choosing support that fits a child’s actual learning needs. Finding NZ school curriculum tutors online can make learning more flexible while keeping students aligned with what they study at school. Platforms like Ziyyara also offer live interaction, which can make online lessons feel more engaging and personal.
