I am always interested in new ways to assess student thinking (or at least new to me). In this example, @NatBanting incorporates "interviews" with students while assessing them. In Ontario, I think this is a welcomed addition to help teachers assess using two prongs of the triangulation model (Observations, Conversations and Products).
